Get your goat cheese on! In this fun and information rich session, local goat farmer Jeannie Mckenzie will reveal the great mysteries of making awesome chevre and fantastic feta. You will also learn wonderful uses for goat whey, including using it to make delicious crackers! In addition to learning everything you’ll need to know to make yummy cheeses and crackers in your own kitchen, you’ll have the opportunity to sample a variety of scrumptious Pineheaven Farm creations and visit the goat yard to meet the curious and gentle providers of the amazing milk. You’ll take home culture, rennet and recipes for making cheese at home on your own..
