Almost half of our population (incuding cis women, trans men, non-binary people) regularly menstruate. Commercial single use products are expensive, often toxic and clog the waste stream. It is time for a wider discussion about how to have zero waste menstruation that’s also comfortable for the user. In this class, we will discuss sustainable menstruation options and also create our own panty liner. This is a hands on class–we will be hand sewing and also using a a hand-cranked machine. Each participant will go home with a set of pads and instructions for use and care.
