Work-Trade weekends are privately organized, based on lodging availability and the needs of the farm and consist of three nights and two full days with a travel day on either side. These do not actually need to be on a weekend, for example, arrive Tuesday, work Wednesday/Thursday, Leave Friday Work Traders provide their own breakfast and lunch, evening meals are a collaborative effort. Expect to participate in farm activities for 3-5 hours each day.
About the Farm
Faerie Road Farm is a slice of paradise nestled in a gentle crook of the rogue river on a quiet dead end road. It offers big skies, green grass and clean air. The land is a poultice for frazzled nerves and overtaxed adrenals.
The farm features several orchards, vegetable gardens, medicinal and culinary herb gardens, flower patches, sheep, chickens, rabbits, cats, dogs and a pond in a pastoral setting just north of Grants Pass in Southern Oregon.
Lodging: We have several options to stay, a wonderful glamping spot with covered sleeping platform, bed and conmposting outhouse, a guest room in the house, and a dog friendly crows nest above our carport.
