This course will introduce you to structural and aesthetic fruit tree pruning with a focus on fruit production and tree health. You’ll get an overview of the pruning process including timing, tools, tree biology, proper cuts and a step-by-step process by which you can successfully prune your own trees, even as a novice. We’ll touch on restorations, nutrition, water, pests and how to train young trees.
